All gourds are grown organically, on our small farm in Virginia.  Each one is hand painted and sealed with a clear sealant, so that you can enjoy it for many years to come.  Every year the bluebirds (which are endangered in some areas) come to spend the spring and summer with us in these little gourd houses.  Each one varies in size.  If the size is very important to you, feel free to drop us a line before purchase and well be happy to take an exact measurement for you.  Each one is hand painted, and an absolute one of a kind.  Fantastic gift!!
